Plantation Capital and SIPPs
Plantation Capital has teamed up with many of the UK’s leading independent wealth management companies that specialise in pensions and investments. One of these companies will carry out an initial review, completely free of charge, for potential investors to allow them to assess whether their existing pension plans could benefit from being transferred into a SIPP.
If an investor already has a SIPP, or once the SIPP has been set up, the investor can then select the funds in which they wish the SIPP trustees to invest. It may well be that sustainable forestry or agriculture is one option as part of a balanced portfolio.
If you were to invest £8,000 into your SIPP, on top of the £2,000 (20%) basic tax relief automatically added by the government, you can claim up to a further £2,000 via your tax return. £10,000 in your SIPP could therefore cost you as little as £6,000. - Hargreaves Lansdown.
Plantation Capital are not authorised to offer any advice regarding SIPPs or pensions, so please consult your own IFA or we will be happy to recommend you to a professional adviser.
Plantation Capital work with numerous pension providers who have deemed every one of our products as SIPP approved, this allows the plan holder much greater freedom and choice when choosing what their pension monies are invested in.
The process is as follows:
- Client completes the following documents to establish a SIPP with a leading provider:
- SIPP application Form
- Members Establishment Deed
- PR/NPR Transfer form
- The client then needs to complete our SIPP Investor Application Form and The SIPP provider’s Asset Purchase Instruction Form and return the same to the provider.
- The SIPP entity will then be set up and ready to receive funds from either: a) your existing pension providers, or b) your own contributions from earnings or savings.
- Once funds are cleared in the SIPP, the SIPP provider as your instructed SIPP trustees would then transfer funds to Plantation Capital Plc. to purchase the asset/investment product.
Plantation Capital Plc. is not authorised to offer investment advice regarding SIPPs or pensions or any other regulated investment so please consult your own IFA or we will be happy to recommend one in your area.
