Why Invest
“Investment is putting money into something with the expectation of profit.”
People choose to invest for a number of reasons but perhaps the strongest motivation is a desire to provide for and secure your future. The decisions you take today may even help you improve the prospects for your children and grandchildren too. Simply put, there are two ways to earn money i) to exchange your labour for money or ii) have your money generate an income for you. The wealthy have known this for centuries and as Warren Buffett rightly stated: “Someone‘s sitting in the shade today because someone planted a tree a long time ago.”
